How do you eat your pizza?

In the movie, “Despicable Me” (which is one of my favorites), the girls ask Gru if they can have pizza for supper with “stuffed crust” and everyone dreamily says “stuffed crust.” That’s how my husband, Pepper, feels about pizza, and so does Tracie Cunningham. She said she is a “huge crust fan!”

Students rewarded for Academics

Last Thursday, 198 students from Winona Secondary School were treated to lunch at Pizza Inn.  The treat was a reward for WSS students who showed growth on last May’s state tests.  According to Principal Charlie Parkerson, of the 240 students taking the tests, 198 of them showed growth.  The pizza party was just the first of many rewards planned

Making the perfect sandwich

There are very few things better than a ‘nanner sammich. Neatly cut into nine circles of banana on Sunbeam bread loaded with Blue Plate (of course), or mashed and mixed with a little mayo. love, love, love!

My nephew, Eli, likes Elvis’ favorite sandwich, Peanut Butter and Banana! (You will not catch me eating that!)

64th Class Reunion

Hornets head to Coffeeville

MOUND BAYOU – After a 46-6 loss to John F. Kennedy Memorial High School, the Montgomery County Hornets are preparing to meet Coffeeville this weekend on the road.

According to Hornets Head Coach Al Dotson, the bright spot of Friday’s game against JFK was a kickoff return for a touchdown by the Hornets to kick off the second half.
