The annual Montgomery County High School Invitational Tournament begins today starting at 4 p.m. The tournament will kickoff with four teams taking the court Thursday and will end Saturday afternoon.
This year's tournament will consist of the Montgomery County Hornets and Lady Hornets, the Winona Tigers and Lady Tigers, the East Webster Wolverines and Lady Wolverines and the French Camp Panthers and Lady Panthers.
According to boys' coach Frank Miller, play will begin on Thursday and Friday at 4 p.m. and the Saturday game begins at 2 p.m.
Winona will open up the contests with the Lady Tigers facing the French Camp Lady Panthers at 4 p.m., and the boys will follow. At 6:40, the Lady Hornets will take on the Lady Wolverines.
The Winona and East Webster match up will take place Friday afternoon, and the French Camp and Montgomery County matchup follows.
At 2 p.m. Saturday, the Lady Panthers open up against the Lady Wolverines with the boys to follow. The much anticipated Winona Lady Tigers and Lady Hornets contest starts at 4:40 p.m., and boys tips off at 6 p.m.
