Some of the best talent in 1A basketball will swarm to Kilmichael as the 6-1A tournament begins at Montgomery County High School.

The tournament is set for Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at the Hornets and Lady Hornets home court.

"This is huge for the kids," boys coach Frank Miller said. "They play well when a crowd is behind them."

Miller said of his 14-9 Hornets, it will appear they will go into the tournament as either the two or three seed team. Miller said Sebastopol will likely be the number one seeded team.

Durant will likely be the number four, McAdams the five seed and Ethel appears to be the number six team.

Montgomery County will travel to Ethel on Friday for their regular season finale.
