State Track Champions

The Winona Tigers brought home several State Championship medals in track.  Natori Weathersby (bottom right) took home the individual state championship in Discus; Krystle Hughes (middle right) took home state championship medals in the 100 meter and 200 meter; and  Tyra Weathersby (top right)  won the medal for Triple Jump.  The Tigers  relay



Teen killed in I55 crash

WINONA -- A Jackson teen was killed Friday night in a one-car accident on Interstate 55 in Montgomery County.

According to Montgomery County Coroner Allan Pratt, the Montgomery County Emergency Operations Center received a call around 8:45 p.m. Friday, May 4 reporting an accident on Interstate 55 north of Highway 82.
