Charlotte Duggins Turner, 84, of Greenwood passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Thursday, June 14, 2018. Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2018, at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home. Visitation was from 12 p.m. until service time. Rev. Dennis McKay officiated.

Mrs. Cora Eulalah Johnson, 96, of Tupelo, formerly of Winona, passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 19. Visitation will be Friday, June 22, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home, with a chapel service following. Burial will be at Winona Garden of Memory in Winona.  Rev. Charlotte E. Johnson King

Mrs. Charlotte E. Johnson King, 67, of French Camp passed away on Friday, June 15, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora. 

Mrs. King was born on December 7, 1950, and was the daughter of the late Richard Thomas and Mamie Lee Cordell Johnson. Mrs. King was a member of Covenant Baptist Church near French Camp and a homemaker. 


Larry Dale Palmertree, Sr.,

Larry Dale Palmertree, Sr., 64, passed away on Tuesday June 12, 2018.  Visitation was from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, June 15 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko.  Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 16 in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Hebron Cemetery.  Rev. Bobby Palmertree officiated.


Cynthia “Cindy” Smith Oliver

Mrs. Cynthia “Cindy” Smith Oliver, 59, of Vaiden, passed away June 15, 2018, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation was from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday, June 18, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Michie Cemetery near Vaiden. Rev.

Members of Carroll Academy's Middle School Student Council, sponsored as the Douglas Carroll Junior American Citizens by Third Arrow Chapter, Mississippi Society Daughters of the American Revolution, donated food items, helped prepare plates and served area "shut-ins" with the ladies of  "Women on Mission" at the North Carrollton Baptist Church
