Amon Olin Devoe Williams

Services for Amon Olin Devoe Williams were held Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at 1 p.m. graveside in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton.

Mr. Williams, 61, died on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.

He was born on November 5, 1956, in Meridian. He retired from Southern Pipe after 35 years of service. He loved spending time with his dogs, playing guitars with his friends, working on old cars, and riding motorcycles. He is preceded in death by his daughters, Allyson Nicole Williams, and Lauren Williams, and his mother, Johnnie Mills. 

He is survived by his wife, Julie Williams of Meridian; son, Colby Williams of Madison; and brother, Mark Griffin of Meridian.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev. Bernard Wiggins officiated the services. Pallbearers were Dewayne Wiggins, Wayne Cox, Jim Harrell, Glenn Nail, Billy Humphrey, and Teddy Strickland. Honorary Pallbearer was Charles Howell.
