Barney Paul Henning

Funeral services for Barney Paul Henning of Winona were at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Mission Cemetery near Winona.  Rev. Billy Little officiated the services.

Visitation was Friday from noon until service time at Oliver Funeral Home.

Mr. Henning, 69, died at Pleasant Hill Community Living Center in Jackson on Tuesday, October 10.  He was born in Montgomery County on September 14, 1948, to James Monroe and Mavis Grantham Henning.   Henning was disabled and was a member of Cornerstone Faith Fellowship in Winona. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Jean Wills, Arlene Pearson, Ruth Gregg, and Lillian Suber; and one brother, Cecil Henning.

Mr. Henning is survived by three sisters, Gwen Richardson of Stewart, Patsy Barton of Winona and Peggy Reed of Winona; three brothers, Richard Henning of French Camp, Edward Henning of Winona and Thomas Henning of Winona; sister-in-law, Barbara Henning; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Wayne Suber, Warren Henning, Billy Carson, Patrick Carson, Marcus Carson, and Michael Noah; with R. C. Beckwith serving as honorary pallbearer.
