Mary Eleanor “Ele” Graves Trepagnier

Mary Eleanor “Ele” Graves Trepagnier passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 17, 2018.

She was full of southern grace and loved fiercely and without apology. She had a zest for life and was Louisiana Sunshine and Hurricane Ele’ wrapped into one. She attended MSCW and Mississippi College. She was a past Queen for the Krewe of Eve and loved, Mardi Gras, her race horses, playing her flute and entertaining.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Ellington and Mary Rae Graves, her brother Bill Graves and her husband Robert “Trep” Trepagnier.

Mourning her loss are her children Michael Gaskin and his wife Jennifer; Patti Knockaert and her husband Bryan; Rick Gaskin;  granddaughters, Kali Gaskin, Sydney Gaskin, Katie Gaskin and Emma Gaskin; brother Bob Graves; sister Lydia Graves Chassaniol; numerous nieces and nephews, along with her step-children and step-grandchildren from the Trepagnier family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at EJ Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the services beginning at 1 p.m.
