Shirley Jean Gregg Watts

Funeral services for Shirley Jean Gregg Watts of Carrollton were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 17, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Moore's Memorial Cemetery near North Carrollton.  Rev. Keith Ramage officiated the services. Pallbearers were Kevin Banks, Perry Gregg, Adam Bowen, Tucker Tindle, Draven Harrington, and Eddie Holland. Honorary pallbearers were Wes Hunt and Jackie Sims.

Visitation was Monday, April 16, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home.

Mrs. Watts, 72, passed away on Saturday, April 14, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital in Greenwood. She was born to William Robert and Vera Avenell Perry Gregg on February 16, 1946.  She worked for 25 years as a licensed practical nurse at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. She was a member of North Carrollton Baptist Church.

Mrs. Watts is survived by her children, Brandi Hunt, and husband, Wes, of Carrollton, Eugene Watts Jr., and wife, Angie, of Holcomb and Brad Watts and wife, Jennifer, of Carrollton; two grandchildren, Tyler Watts and Graydon Hunt; brother, Bobby Gregg of Schererville, IN; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Eugene Watts; her parents; three sisters, and two brothers.
